2005 FIJI Run Across Virginia
The 2005 FIJI Run Across Virginia was a landmark year. With more press
coverage then ever before, the run was able to raise over $32,000 dollars for The V Foundation. This years run
was even featured in a video clip on ESPN during the game. This was
possilby the best year yet with all parts of the run moving smoothly.
Special thanks to all the town councils and police escorts who helped us make it
safely across the state of Virginia. In addition, thank you to all our
business sponsors who helped us fund this growing event.

This years check presentation was
made on the 50 yard line of Scott stadium in Charlottesville. The ball arrived
at the stadium early in the morning after traveling all night. This year's run
pushes the FIJI Run Across Virginia over $100,000 in total donations to The V
Foundation over the past three years.

This picture was taken at the ball
handoff point in Lynchburg, Virginia. The ball switched carriers from VT
FIJI members to UVa FIJI members at around 11:30 pm the night before the game.
