The 2004 FIJI Run Across Virginia was an amazing continuation of last years run.  Despite some early setbacks the run was able to persevere and raise over $31,000 dollars for The V Foundation.  This years run proved that we can make this an annual event and that the future will only be better.  With many improvements to the run this year including the new independent website, creation of an expense account, and the reduction of run expenses by over $2,000 from last years run, we have been able to streamline our operations and improve the run dramatically.

     This years check presentation was made on the 50 yard line of Lane stadium in Blacksburg.  The ball arrived at the stadium at just after 12 noon on the game day.  This year's run pushes the FIJI Run Across Virginia over $65,000 in total donations to The V Foundation over the past two years.

     This picture was taken at the ball handoff point in Lynchburg, Virginia.  The ball switched carriers from UVA FIJI members to VT FIJI members at around 9:30 pm the night before the game.
